Nord Anglia's Class of 2026 Secures Oxford, Cambridge and Ivy League Offers Across Asia
Students at the group's schools in Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur are among the standout performers in Nord Anglia's strongest year of university placements.

Nord Anglia Education has published its Class of 2026 university destinations, with graduates across its 90-school global network securing offers from Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford and UCL. According to a press release issued on 12 June, students at schools in Asia featured prominently in the headline results.
At the British School of Beijing, Shunyi, two students received offers to Cambridge, with Deming Sun heading to Downing College to read engineering and GaWon Kim securing a place at Lucy Cavendish College. At the British International School Shanghai, Puxi, a student named Melis received an offer to study law at Cambridge, while the British International School of Kuala Lumpur saw Christopher receive offers from Imperial College London, King's College London and the University of Manchester.
Hong Kong and Bangkok also shine
Graduates of Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong secured offers to UCL, the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, King's College London, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. From St Andrews International School Bangkok, students are moving on to King's College London, the University of Melbourne, the University of Hong Kong and the University of Edinburgh, among others.
The results span the group's IB and A Level pathways. Dr Elise Ecoff, Nord Anglia's Chief Education Officer, said the outcomes reflected "our students' ambition and hard work, as well as the dedication of our teachers around the world." The group has been the world's largest provider of the IB Diploma Programme since 2021.
Context: a year of transition for the group
The results arrive at a notable moment for Nord Anglia. The group completed a $14.5 billion acquisition by a private equity consortium led by Neuberger Berman in March 2025, and has since moved quickly on expansion, acquiring MKIS in Kuala Lumpur and opening new sixth-form centres in Hong Kong. For families weighing their options at Nord Anglia schools across our covered cities, the university placement data provide the most concrete evidence yet of how the group's academic programme is performing under its new ownership.
