Tanglin Trust School's Class of 2026 has posted a provisional average IB Diploma score of 38.7 points from a 100% pass rate, according to the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, which reported the results on 7 July, the day after scores were released globally.

Five students achieved the maximum 45 points, and seven earned the prestigious Bilingual Diploma. Nearly two-thirds of the cohort (67%) scored 38 or above, and more than a quarter (27.5%) reached 42 or higher. The class was among the largest the school has entered for the diploma, all against a global average of 30.88.

Where the school stands

Tanglin is consistently ranked among the top three international schools for the IB in Singapore and inside the global top 20. This year's cohort extended a run of strong cycles. Head of Senior School Dr. Richard Malpass called the results "superb" and said they "continue the fine pattern of results for students taking the diploma here at Tanglin over recent years." Head of Sixth Form Damian Ballantine credited the class's "dedication, diligence and perseverance."

The results land in a week of notable performances across Singapore's international schools. North London Collegiate School Singapore reported record scores, and the city's overall IB average came in at 35.67, comfortably above the global mean. For Tanglin, combining a large cohort with a 38.7 average places it firmly at the top of the local table and competitive with the strongest cohorts in Hong Kong and beyond.
