KIS Reignwood Park Opens IB Diploma Programme With THB 10 Million Scholarship Package
The north Bangkok day-and-boarding campus has received IB authorisation and is welcoming its first Diploma cohort this August, alongside a scholarship offer that extends the school's long-running awards programme.
KIS International School's Reignwood Park campus is welcoming its first cohort of IB Diploma Programme students this August, after receiving official authorisation from the International Baccalaureate in October 2025. According to the Bangkok Post, the school has paired the launch with a THB 10 million scholarship package, awarding four full scholarships to Grade 11 and 12 students at Reignwood Park and two at the original KIS Bangkok campus.
The Reignwood Park campus opened in August 2024 as KIS's second school, extending a programme that has offered the IB Diploma at its Bangkok campus for more than 25 years. Achieving DP authorisation within roughly a year of opening is a relatively fast trajectory for a new IB World School, and gives the campus a complete K-13 IB offering from only its second academic year.
The scholarship package
The THB 10 million on offer spans six full scholarships across the two campuses. KIS says it has distributed more than THB 50 million in scholarship funding since its first award in 2010, and frames the Reignwood Park allocation as a continuation of that tradition rather than a one-time launch promotion. Candidates are assessed on both academic standing and wider achievement.
The campus sits on 60 acres in Pathum Thani, north-east of Bangkok, and operates as a full day-and-boarding school from Grade 4, positioning itself as the city's only IB boarding option at that age range. Facilities include a 1,000-seat auditorium, an aquatic centre, a golf development academy, and a gymnastics hall.
Completing the IB ladder
With DP authorisation in place, Reignwood Park now offers a continuous IB progression from the Primary Years Programme through to the Diploma, allowing families to remain within a single curriculum framework from early childhood to university entry without a mid-school switch.
Bangkok's international school market has grown rapidly over recent years, with several new campuses opening across each of the last three academic years. Most new supply has clustered in or near the city centre. Reignwood Park's out-of-town location and boarding provision represent a distinct pitch, aimed at families from the northern Bangkok commuter belt as well as those prepared to board younger secondary students in a campus-style setting.
