EtonHouse Launches Trilingual Middleton School in Bangkok This August

The EtonHouse International Education Group, which operates schools across nine countries from its Singapore base, has opened Middleton International School Bangkok in the Pinklao district this August, marking the group's first foothold in Thailand. According to Bangkok Online, the campus spans 20,000 square metres and will initially welcome students from Nursery 1 through Grade 4, with a phased expansion planned to eventually complete a full K-12 pathway.

The school's defining proposition is a trilingual programme delivered in English, Thai and Mandarin. Thai-language instruction runs daily for native speakers and weekly for non-native students, while Mandarin is introduced through structured immersion sessions. The academic framework draws on the International Primary Curriculum from the United Kingdom alongside Singapore Mathematics, with Cambridge IGCSE and International A-Levels planned as the programme matures.

Fees and campus design

Annual fees start from THB 396,000, a level EtonHouse positions as internationally benchmarked but accessible by comparison with the premium end of Bangkok's crowded market. The campus design takes cues from Thai heritage: a culinary atelier draws on the country's food culture, and the school library incorporates a storytelling studio inspired by traditional Thai puppetry.

The arrival of EtonHouse adds a Singapore-flavoured option to a city that has already seen an unusually large crop of new international schools open for August 2026, the majority of them affiliated with British independent school brands. Middleton's blend of Singapore methodology and British qualifications occupies a different niche, and at fees below the prestige tier, may appeal as readily to Thai families as to the expatriate community the market has historically served.
